Wait a minute. The difference is:

6" Angular Chrome Extended Running Boards
5" Chrome Tubular Step Bars
6" Angular Chrome Step Bars

The extensions are not available with the 6" step bars that are part of the chrome package. So, I guess the running boards are cheaper than the step bars. Mystery solved!

Something interesting on that truck...it does appear to have painted mirror caps. And this is a Lariat and not a KR .

It's an incredible bargain when you figure that the black plastic junk ones on prior years was a 370 dollar oltion!

All i can say is get em while you can, if this is in fact a glich, it wont be long before they realize it and correct it. for all you guys that have already ordered them, they should have to honor that price.

Ive noticed that so far, every lariat ive seen, has the painted mirrors, if it doesnt have the chrome package. According to the order guide and the build and price site, its not supossed to be, but they must have decided to do it. Looks 10 times better than the black plastic.

I agree it does look much better. I was never a fan of the chrome caps but paint is perfect...

If you get a black or magnetic truck, they dont show up much. The light has to hit it just right to tell their painted. So chrome might look better with those colors, but on the other (lighter)colors they stand out good.

The first white one ive seen without the chrome pkg, and the painted caps. Havent ran across silver yet.
