ForScan and Windows 10, anybody using it, need a little help

Windows updated to 10, now I can't get it to work anymore. Updated ForScan to 2.3.3, I have a corded USB OBD II adapter that was working before, it was my preferred method. Had it set to COM port connection, auto detection. That was when using Win7 Pro. I could roll back to that, but would prefer to stay with 10 if possible now that I've worked thru all the bugs except this one.

Any help would be appreciated. I do have the ELM 327 blue tooth adapter if that helps?

I'm no win10 expert, but I thought it had a win7 emulation mode you could run legacy programs in -- have you tried that?

No, I'll give it a whirl. I'm also taking a Win-XP machine home tonight.

I just had a look at the Forscan forum and they have a beta testing section. You might go over and join that forum and ask the question. Someone over there might have already figured out a simple fix.

AND, yes, Winblows 10 does have a Win7 compatibility mode that should work with the old USB drivers.

Right click ForScan, select Properties. Select to run in Windows 7 mode. Close ForScan, restart the program, right click properties, select trouble shoot, select fix issues. Restart your laptop. Plug your adapter into the OBD port, plug into the laptops USB port, key on, start ForScan..... program linked and asked to save trucks profile.

Buzz tested all injectors at 100%. Contribution code for #8 confirmed. Changed injector, trucks back up and running.
