After two years and replacing every front end part possible, I believe I have positively identified the source of the clunk/rattle on my 1992 E-150.
The left side front (next to the radiator) chassis to frame mount moves almost a half inch when provoked. I appears the upper part (chassis) has rusted through and is coming apart.
Anyone got any suggestions?
Welding, urethane, magic?
