So my tuner diagnosed my 2008 F250 6.4 as having possibly 2 bad fuel injectors my mechanic said it might be the harness. Now when I replace should I go OEM or upgrade? And are the remanufactured just as good? And if I upgrade which brand do you recommend and for what reasons? BTW I have a SCT livewire, EPA deletes, open 4" turbo back, upgraded head bolts, New OEM rockers. So please any suggestions will be appreciated!

 

I am curious how your livewire diagnosed bad injectors?? Codes??

 

The tuner spit out the codes along with the problem so I called my mechanic and he told me it was the injectors or the injector harness.

 

for "bad injectors", open primary fuel filter and dump a few onces of injector cleaner. start engine and run for 2 minutes at 1500 rpms. do this 3 to 4 times within a 2 hour period. injector problem may get resolved.
