Hey fellas, new here. I have a 2000 7.3 sc, 4x4, auto with an aluminum flatbed on it. Bought the truck 05/14 with 212k on the clock. It had a TS 6 position in it, 4" lift, muffler delete and rebuilt trans when I bought it.

I've put close to 57k on it since owning it. Haven't done much til recently. AIH delete, 6637, hutch/harpoon, in line pre pump filter, new CPS, cleaned EBPS and tube, EBPV unplugged and that's about all I can think of.

I have coming AFE Big Boost filter to replace the 6637, Edge Insight CTS2 w/EGT and will add more.

TC sounds like it has marbles in it, so that's getting replaced soon as well as a JW or BTS valve body.

I'm sure injectors will need done in the next year or so.

I want to make this rig reliable, tow and DD worthy with a good SOTP feel. Am I on the right track?

Your on the right track, when it comes to injectors choose wisely, it will all depend on your average use.

 

When the time comes I will be doing a lot of research and question asking. I have a heavy right foot, but Not all of the time. I live in NW Oregon. This rig is my daily driver, hunting rig and tow rig.

 

My foot is always trying to touch the asphalt too LOL.

 

The marbles sound is a cracked flexplate
