4bbl on 300 help needed

I have put a holley 600 cfm on my clifford intake and headers also having problems with how to hook up the pre existing linkage and tranny kickdown more concerned with the accelerator cable right now so i can get truck running I'll take it to someone who can fabricate a kickdown but if any body has any pics of a carb it would be more helpful than trying to explain it to me cuz im an idiot ........

I'll post pics when my site comes back up...but you'd be better off with a Lokar kickdown cable than trying to fab up something. On your Throttle linkage, I used the cruise bracket and a 1"X 5" piece of aluminum. I drilt a 3/8" hole in one end and I bolted up the cruise bracket to the other end. The pics will explain it better than I will ever be able to.

I jerry rigged the accelerator cable and got the truck started it's very loud with open headers..... i wish i could see a pic to know if i have spring placement right and what to do with the choke I dont want to break down driving it to the exhaust shop .....
