Good Repair Shop in Central Florida
Hey guys, I am looking for a solid repair shop in the central Florida area. I have an engine oil leak and I am about 95% sure it's the rear main seal. But I don't want to mess with that big of a project. Local ford dealer told me it would probably be over $1,000 because they don't work on old trucks. That's a little steep for my taste.

Depending on what kind of truck you have and what engine is in it a grand does sound a little high. Until you think about laying on your back in the driveway doing the job. Possibly have to remove tranny, that grand sounds better and better. Try using google and do a search for shops in your area. Then if you find 1 do a BBB search on them to check their business rep.

I ended up finding these guys: Certified Auto Repair Florida | Central Florida's #1 Auto, Truck, and SUV Service & Repair Center
I liked them. Seemed reasonable and got the work done.

I use Mobil Oval, now on Goldenrod Rd, just south of Colonial drive, Orlando/Winter Park.
Myron has done most of the work on our Fords that I don't do. He is an Ex Ford Dealer Diesel mechanic, he installed BPD oil and Egr cooler system 5 years ago on my '05 Excursion, my new brakes last year and a wheel bearing on our '04 Explorer.
Highly recommended, very nice folks too.
