Just swapped out my factory muffler for the Aeroturbine 3030XL on my '05 EX, here is a link to the thread in the in the EX forum with video.

I will be installing one very soon. I have been debating and procrastinating for fear that the wife will not like and wont be able to get her in the truck. I have had 'drone' masters on other vehicles and the we both hated it.

 

I have the regular 3030 on mine with a side exit and it sounds HORRIBLE. It is annoyingly loud. I should have got the XL.

 

You can get just the resonator as a separate unit to add to your setup, that should quiet it down to something very close to the 3030XL.

Do you have any other exhaust mods? I slapped the 3030 on my stock exhaust and I'd say that it sounds pretty tame.
