I have a 2005 expedition that rattles like crazy when started and doesn't quiet down much after it warms up. The cam phasers were recently changed and not many miles later the rattle started. The mechanic says it might be plugged oil pickup. It's got 370,000 miles and after $2,000 worth of recent work I don't want to spend any more on this engine. Looking to find a good used engine to swap. What do I need to look for to get an engine that will work? Thanks.
