Good tool for cutting tires?
Had a blow out on I-65 in Indiana. Tire wrapped around the axle and brake and had to use a Stanley knife and small pair of wire cutters to get it off. Took me 2 hours to cut it all off. Lots damage.
Question is what are some good tools to carry with to make cutting the tire of easier?

Those wires that are part of the bead are some damn hardened wires and I am not sure what to use to cut them. Maybe a Dremel drill with a cut off blade? Bolt cutters are capable but those wires are on the thin side and many bolt cutters won't cut that small. Maybe a small set of bolt cutters would do it. That sounds like a real mess to deal with.

Someone here posted a photo of their front tire which brew-out and damaged his truck.
I had a snow chain come off 20 or so years ago which annihilated the entire right side of the bed of my 76 F-150. As soon as I heard it I stopped. Looks as though you faired better.
That tire, "almost" worth carrying a Battery Operated Reciprocating Saw.

One of the handiest things I've ever bought was an 1000w Power inverter, clip it onto the battery (with the truck running or you'll have a dead battery) and you have 120V power that will run most hand power tools anywhere you can take your truck. I don't believe I paid over 100$ for the cheap one I bought and it fits under the driver seat for storage.
