Rushing air sound

Pipe at back of engine. Capped in lower left corner of pic where EGR cooler was previously.
I think I have found the problem. When I deleted the EGR system, I didn't support or remove the cross-over pipe at the back of the engine, just capped it off as the kit said. If I push on this pipe while the truck is running the tone of the rushing air changes. I am guessing that there is a crack in this pipe causing the noise. Can this pipe just be unbolted and move the cap to the pipe that this was bolted to? What about the sensor that is on this pipe, can that be put into the cap when it is moved? Just drill and tap the cap for the sensor? Is this the EBP sensor that will need moved?

My suspicions were correct. The crossover pipe that went from the up pipe to the EGR had a small crack just above the small support tab where 1 bolt is used to support the pipe down by the horizontal EGR cooler. This project was not bad other than having to cut the pipe in 2 places to get it out from behind the engine. I relocated the EBP sensor to the block off plate. I think the tube for the sensor should have some type of support, but didn't find a good solution for that yet. I did have to remove the brake master cylinder in order to get my saw in there far enough to cut the pipe near the first bend.
