As long as the steel end of the seat belt is securely fastened to the proper body/truck fame mount, it shouldn't really matter what you use/do to hold the thing in position.

On a side note, do the OBS full-size trucks use a steel cable wrapped around the frame like my '87 Ranger did? It secured the back side of the seatbelt mounts from ripping out of the body.

well got my seat back yesterday, not very happy with the outcome, seems this is the first time she ever did this type, and you can tell. anyway i got them in and theyll have to do. funny part is that i figured id take off each captains seats and install the frame with the console, well that didnt work, could believe the center console weighs as much as both seats put together, a lot of steel in its frame. but got hem in and ofcourse what a difference, ill post pics later.

picked up my seats yesterday, far from perfect, but mistakes cant be seen when installed. funny thing is the console weighs almost as much as both seats together.

They look pretty nice other than being too light to match the charcoal interior. How much did she charge you?

$800.00. found seats pretty close to this for $1100.00 to my door, but either they were either fabric or vinyl, not both, and they had a fake wood console. they originally had this setup so thats what i wanted. i want to get 1/2 yard of material and do the fabric on the door panels to match, that will help.

hmmm, dont like the shade of grey i picked, well i do. the door panels have years of smoking on them. quit smoking about a year ago. carpet kit and some way of getting the door panels to pop again is my next chore.
