While looking up the paint I used on my truck (formula 150BD8116) I found that it was used By Ford as a 1993 fleet color, and was curious to know what it was used on but do not know how to find out. Do you have any other codes for the paint that appears to be a manufacturers mix no. If it is a ford color it should have a letter digit no 8b or something similar

 

No I'm sorry, that is all the info I could come up with off the can, product sheet, or manufacturers web site. Its not imperative that I find the answer, I'm just curious. It's obviously just a clone of whatever Ford used. Where did you find the color ? Your mix shows only 1 year which is very odd . almost all fleet colors are a factory color " adopted " by a company that liked it or bought their first unit with that color . If it is only a 1 year color which would be very rare it should be relatively easy to find

 

I found it in a color book at a local auto paint supply store. The brand was North Star, which is a sub of Lucid. I agree one year of production odd.. Ill surf the ford color site and see what I can find. But as I mentioned its not critical, I'm just curious .I really appreciate your help
