Wider front fender for a F100

Looking for wider front fenders for my F 100 project. Truck is built in a 1976 Hi Boy frame (4x4) and the tires stock tires are right at the edge of the fenders. looking to go wider with tires but want to keep them under the fenders.

The only wider fenders are from the big jobs, you could look for some fenders from a F350 or F500-600 which had bigger wheel well openings..

Are there any companies making fenders for the bigger trucks?

No there is not, you are going to need to look for some in a wrecking yard or on Craigslist . Maybe check the adds on here, someone will likely have a pair hoarded in their shed..they might be pricey unless you find someone not digging for gold...

There are a lot of guys converting the larger trucks to an F-100 that might be willing to give you a deal on a set, maybe try contacting Kevin, known as Bigwin56f100 . He deals in used parts all the time and might have just what you are looking for..

Since Hi-Boys have 8 bolt rims these may be harder to find but how about a different offset rim?
If you widen the front fenders then you get into widening the running boards and rear fenders as well don't you?

The truck has an aluminum flat bed on it (8) so for the time being that will stay until I can source a 8 ft step side bed to fit. Yes I will either have to lengthen a 6.5 or shorten a 9 ft. The rear fenders are available with a 3 inch width addition. So that is not a problem. The fronts no one is making widened front fenders so I have to fab something up. The big Job fenders would be a good place to start as most of the complicated work is done. just need to rework the wheel arches with ones from a F100/250 and I think I am there. Thought about negative offset wheels ( moving the center out) need to check on wheel cut clearances if I go that route.
Plus I like the dish look.

I seem to recall reading, and my "rememberer" is not what it used to be, that someone took two fenders and cut and welded them together to get a wider fender....may have been rear ones but may be possible for fronts...... although they do have semi-compound curves but nothing that couldn't be overcome with enough metal work and patience I would think :-)

I don't think he'll need Big Job fenders. The F350/F500/F600 fenders will work fine. I've mocked up my 54 F100 with F600 Front fenders on a 78 F250 4x4 and 84 F250 4x4 chassis and they were about the perfect width for the later track width.

Next question is where can I find a set of F500 or F600 fenders? Here on the east coast I would need to rummage the swap meets, and have not developed a network of knowledge base yet.

Any help is appreciated.
