Tac, tac, tac.

4" out of the back

After a lot of tacking and grinding it's ready for the body shop.

Shorten the frame.

Welded up. Later I added reinforcement on the inside.

.

The tired 360 got replaced by a 351W. I also added power brakes and steering.

Off to the paint shop.

A short 14 months later and it's ready for reassembly.

Outside done, on to the interior.

New seat cover from Rockauto.

No Ranger trim for the back window or the windshield. They were both an sob to install. I can't imagine doing it with the chrome trim. Cargo lite got the switchback LED bulb brake light mod.

Dash pad out of a 72 parts truck. It was covered in dust and papers and farm parts but it had no cracks. A little soap and water and some 303 Protectant and it looks like new! ( I highly recommend the 303 )

New carpet and shiny threshold strips. 3pt seat belts are from LMC.

Door panels painted satin black to match dash.

Thanks I copied fellow forum member Randle.
Front: 7 x 15 with 3.75 backspacing. 235/70/15 tires
Rear: 8.5 x 15 with 3.75 backspacing 255/70/15 tires

For lowering:
DJM 3-4 drop beams and rear shackles.

That looks great. That seat cover looks pretty nice. With the large windshields, the regular slick seat gets HOT! in the sun. I really like that mix of materials.

Nice work
