Working on a friends 460.... The dizzy is completely stuck in the block. The gear and shaft are loose and wanting to come out but the housing is screwed. Been soaking it with PB and have completely destroyed the housing. I've been using a 6ft pry bar to pry on it and it wont even budge. I took my porting grinder and ground a trough for the PB to sit and soak in. Gonna try to get my crappy 3/8" HF air chisel and make some noise later.

I agree...but rather than a chisel use a hammer end to make a lot of vibration. That will help the PB Blaster to penetrate. Then heat up the block with a torch, once it's good and warm freeze the distributor with Freon. Then try to figure out a way to use a slide hammer to pull up on the distributor. Sharp impacting forces are 100 times better at freeing something that a pry bar applying a smooth even force.

Good luck!

If I had the engine block out, I would have def used heat but I'm not about to ruin gaskets while in the truck. We got it out, drilled a bunch of 1/8" holes and kept chiseling til we got a section of it broken off enough where the O ring is. Got a lot of metal in the engine so we flushed with diesel and changed out. All is well, thank god, what a nightmare! Out of all the engines I've messed with I've never had that happen before.

Now convince your friend to buy a set of hoses. Those look terrible.
