squeak in Bronco
Just purchased 1996 Bronco w/351 motor . Has a squeak I cannot locate. I have changed U joints . Does not happen all the time . Happens with moving , sounds like something rubbing turning. I have changed and check brakes also. Does not happen all the time but is loud when it does . Anyone have any ideas ? Tks CM2

Could be shocks... could be radius arm bushings... could be a mouse... Could be spring rubbers... Could be many things. Help us narrow it down, from what part of the truck is the squeek coming from?

i also had a squeak that i could not find. does yours come from the engine compartment? if so check the fAN CLUTCH . REPLACED MINE AND NO MORE SQUEAK. good luck . oops hit the cap lock button again.

Squeak does not happen all the time . It may go for a day or two without anything. Seems to come from drivers side, only when moving . Could it be a wheel bearing?? Tks CM2

I had a seal going bad (the one on the back of the hub) and it made a rubbery type squeek....definately not a metal rub squeek. So it could be this. I jacked up the truck so the wheel was off the ground...and if you spun it by hand...squeek...squeek...squeek. So I just pulled the hub and replaced the seal. It was dry and kinda fubared....
