I have recently purchased an 05 6.0 since i have bought it i hate to sayz its been nothing but problems. So far i have replaced the head gaskets and has arp studs done with it, i have egr delete, and coolant filter from sinister diesel, and a sct flash tuner. The day after getting it back from the shop my turbo blew, so i took it in had a brand new 04 turbo isntalled and had them properly tune the truck and install an edge insight monitor for gauges, after getting the truck back i drove about 4 miles and the brand new turbo blew up i am at a loss for where the problem could be any ideas? Truck only has 80,000 miles on it

 

What actually happened to the turbo? "blew up" doesn't really tell use what is wrong with it making it hard to develop any ideas as to what is wrong. Also if you just put a 04 turbo on it you should not have needed it "properly tuned up" unless you mean you had a tune installed for more power. That said I don't see any way a new turbo could blow up in just 4 miles. Pictures of the blown turbo would help
