How long does 20% bio-diesel stay good?

Filled truck with 20% biodiesel at high volume Shell station. Haven't driven the truck since. Anything to check before I turn the key?

Thanks all, Loren

To make myself feel better before even turning the key, I'd pull the secondary fuel filter on the engine and see what the bowl looks like. If it's nice and clear and no signs of problems I'd run it low and fill with good fuel.

I've had it sit a month before... filter will confirm if it's growing.

I will check the filters. Duh..... I overedited the first post. It has sat for 4 months.

Just wondering if there is a rule of thumb like storing mower engines etc over the winter.

get that out before it gets cold if you live in the north I have seen shut down a 18 wheeler in it's tracks, real problems in cold weather.

It's Ethanol that kills mowers and chainsaws
