Can someone give me any ideas what other parking brake link spring (part #2139 in diagram) will work on my 1948 Ford F1 truck. I am not able to find one anywhere, so I was hoping to be able to get something at Oreillys,/autozone/etc.. that would work. Thanks

 

The correct part # is A8TZ-2A601-A, used on a ton of Fords well into the 60's. I got mine at NAPA, but it may have been part of a complete kit.

 

Here's the correct picture showing the spring as 2A601.

Ford replaced some brake, u-joint, transmission basic part numbers in the late 1950's.

The part number that Ross gave you...has also been replaced.
