Steering went away with some whining while driving... checked fluid, was full. kept going and then after about an hour the PS pump pulley left the truck and of course brakes went with that as well. Flushed the whole thing and put a good used pump & steering box on. Brakes again work but still no steering. Is my hydro boost shot? 2004 f350 6.0

 

found a long clear plastic tube twisted up and sticking into hydroboost inlet line... where did that come from???

 

Did you ever figure out where the plastic came from?

 

Never did figure it out.. Thinking it may have been a hose liner that let go possibly??
