my truck is an 04 with supposedly 44k original miles. i don't doubt the miles but some guys on a facebook group said the boot and clamp look like way more than 40k miles? wasn't aware the turbo was a reman either, i thought it was all factory installed stuff. i dont doubt the miles are correct on my truck, he said he's heard of people taking clusters out then putting them back in when they sell, i doubt that's the case. carfax etc shows the same mileage, i guess i could always have the dealer pull data from the ecu if i wanted to know for sure? its a digital cluster so i assumed that even if you change it, the reading shows whatever the ecu is?

 

Not sure about the reman turbo, but I remember pulling the factory steering gear out of an F150 that had a reman sticker on it. The original owner still had the truck, and he was absolutely certain it had never been worked on.

So it wouldn't surprise me.

 

It doesn't surprise me that the turbo would have been replaced.
