I know it does not show as an option, on the Ford site... but thought someone here would have knowledge and experience with color orders?

I believe the Platinum package only comes in White Platinum, Ingot Silver, Bronze Fire, Ruby Red, and Black.

And they are all only available in 4x4 and crew cabs.

 

I'm sorry. But if I were about to drop thatuch on a truck, I would not want someone saying, nope, can't have that, it's only a lower trim color.

I miss the days you could truly custom order.

Other manufacturers have realized that there is a customer base that wants to customize.

 

I agree. While I am fan of silver and have had several trucks that color and still do have a Mustang that color, my current F250 is Blue Jeans and I like that color.
An order should be an order. Any available color that the factory has should be on the order sheet for a truck.

 

While I agree that the customer should be able to order things the way they want - within reason of course - there have always been "packages" that come a certain way and a certain way only.

You can equip a Lariat trim truck with almost everything the Platinum comes with anyway. About the only thing I don't think you can add is the heated steering wheel.
