Horn button and steering wheel assembly

So I tried to take off my horn button and broke the three black plastic tabs off the back. How is this supposed to come off? I still can't get the broken black tabs off the horn assembly, so I can get down to the steering wheel nut.

I replaced my drag bar b/c one of the ball joints was bad. Now the steering wheel is not straight.

thx

the steering wheel center cap/trim ring should come off by simply pushing down and turning anticlockwise.

Thanks Mikie. Too bad it does not say that in the manual. Surprised I was not able to figure it out. The horn button was repairable with some epoxy. Now I just need a new copper spring contact thing. That was why the horn was not working.

Does your Econoline have a horn button or horn ring?

I have the horn button. The lower solid copper portion of the contact brush was sheared in half and fell down in the column. The horn is dead too, so I'll get a new one of those as well.
