Any problems with 2.5" leveling kit/coil spacers?

A buddy of mine just sold his truck (2006 F350) before he could put his leveling kit in it, so I bought it for 100 bucks off him to put in my 05 F350 . It came with 4 shocks and 2 coil spacers still brand new in the box so I figured I can't pass that up. But before I install it my biggest concern is will it do any damage or extra wear to the front end? I've never put a lift or leveling kit in any of my trucks so I was just wondering, before I do it, what I'm getting myself into?

I've had a 2.5 on my 2015 for 7k miles now, no issues here. You will want to get the alignment checked after you install it.

I definitely will. More than likely Ill have a shop put it in so they can just align it right there.

It's going to need the steering wheel centered and caster bushings. If you can use a tape measure and call your high school geometry teacher the caster is easy to take case of. I just did a 1.5 on my 2016 and calculated a 2.2 degree change before leveling, verified with my digital angle finder while I did the install. If your alignment is currently in check the caster would be the reason for the alignment shop. If you think it through of how you are altering the geometry the caster can be fixed with the shop.
