2015 Radio Won't Shut Off
My 2015 F250 Lariat radio ("touch screen without Navigation") is acting "stoopid" It's an intermittent, not constant problem. The dealer has verified it and has changed the Audio Control Module (ACM). It "checked good" and was working for about 10 minutes, then the symptoms returned.
Here's what it's doing: When driving, the volume/power button will operate the volume, but will not turn the radio off. When parked, no key in the ignition, open the vehicle door, press the power/volume button and the radio will power up and operate as it should, but with no key in the ignition. ???
I've searched the internet, poured over a number of forums and used every search engine I can find, but it seems nobody has posted any similar problems. (At least I haven't found any).
The dealer want's to start "removing and replacing" components until they get it fixed. I'm wondering if this "R&R" technique is the right way to go or if, once the warranty expires and I have a problem that wasn't fixed, just "R&R'ed" until it is my problem, not Ford's ???
Any ideas or suggestions????
Thanks in advance

Once you have a warranty issue logged into their system, Ford will (usually?) continue working on it until it's fixed. I did that once with my '96 T-bird, and they worked on it after the warranty was up. So the warranty ending before it's fixed is not that big a concern.
Sounds like a relay might be stuck closed. Turn the radio on (with the key not in the ignition) and start pulling relays from under the hood until the radio shuts off
