This windshield frame was rolled and formed from one piece of sheet metal. That was an amazing feat! Now if I can find a good piece of windshield frame somewhere, possibly I can repair this one:

Windshield

Ouch, that thing has some rust for sure. I seem them on Epay from time to time, you might get lucky. Then again whatever you find might be in better shape to begin with. To bad Chickasaw is over.

I have been working on this pickup again. I hung the fenders on the body temporarily to support them while I work them over a lot more:

I used a receiver hitch to support the dreaded 3 point engine stand:

Looking GREAT! I love the receiver hitch for training wheels. Anyone who remembers Rowan and Martin knows how unstable a 'tricycle' is.

I have been working on this on and off this summer. I took the bed off and repainted the bottom black since I have decided to paint the whole vehicle black. I have put many hours sanding and filling and priming over and over again; still not done. It still looks like I haven't done much since the previous pics. It is all one piece now, however.

Very nice, I think that it will look good, just curious, why all black now?

Thank you! Henry originally decided to change to all black for assembly speed; so I was thinking the same thing.
