I actually traded my fronts to a truck puller, they seem to like those with the slight negative arch. Installed his highboy ones in my 78 dana 60 front. Made the rake go away and truck sit level which was my goal.

Yes, but do not be surprised if they settle once the weight is on them. Just make sure the old HB springs are not worn out. And if you have a swapped in 460 and the PO left on the front sump oil pan and off roads it hard, the front D44 pumpkin CAN smack the oil pan. Then just add front blocks.....The PO of my blue truck was a moron.

Do NOT add front blocks! I am kidding.

The front spring bolts on the highboy are a smaller diameter than on the lowboy trucks. Are you guys swapping out the front sleeves/bushings when installing the highboy springs in a 77.5+ lowboy?

I think what I did if I recall was got new later bushings from energy suspension and was able to use the later bolt. It's pretty bad that was only last summer and I forget. I'm not sure exactly how wore out they are but this is 285's:

Not to sure if the PO of ol blue was smart enough to of swapped the sleeves/bushings.

But the bolts that held the worn out HB springs on my truck also worked just fine in the 4" Rough Country spring bushings..
