Leveling kits - Where to measure???

I have an 02 F350 7.3 4X4 Reg cab Long box and im planning on putting a front leveling kit in it to give it a better stance and put a little bigger tires on it ... The front end of my truck sits pretty low when you look at so im kind of skeptical about doing the 2" or 2.5" kits becuase i want it to be as dead even as possible, maybe have the rear a tiny bit higher ... If i put my truck on a level surface and measure from the ground up, front and back, where on the body in the front and back should i measure to, to get an accurate measurement of how many inches i need to make the front level with the back? ...THANKS !!!

Bring a jack and raise it to your liking then measure it and measure again once you put it down.
