Which Rear Wheel Seal?

Ok, Oreillys is trying to sell me a 40.00+ rear wheel seal for my truck..I found a 6 dollar one at autozone? They also have the high dollar one as well. One is for a Dana full floating rear end(cheap one) one is for 10.25 oil bath? How do I know which one I need?

well, since you have a sterling 10.25 rear, you need the seal for the sterling 10.25.

why would you actually think anything on your truck would be the cheap one???
that kind of thing only happens to other people!!!

and usually the ones that have more money than they know what to do with so they can afford the expensive part.

Ha! That's the way it has been going on this truck! Seems every thing I open up has worms crawin out everywhere! It's gonna be a brand new 1997 F350! by the time I'm done with it. Previous owner just turned the key and the stearing wheel, that was about it! lol

SKF 34384 is what you want. I found two on ebay for a reasonable price.

all of my trucks are the same way.
$14 tie rod end, or $97 tie rod end. i just get the $97 part, because i know i will be going back for it in two hours if i get the $14 part.
