Seat Cover?

Yup. I'm always jumping into my XLT while wearing dirty overalls - and like as not, with tools in my pockets. So this weekend I noticed that Walmart had "Genuine Dickies" brand "Universal Fit" seat covers on sale for $30 a set (both front seats, 40-20-40 seats) so I picked up a set. Quick and easy install, and they're even designed to work with the airbags built into the seat backs. I figure it's cheap insurance!

I just purchased a 2013 Chevy Impala with seats that look brand new. The PO installed Wet Okole seat covers the day he bought the car new. They are a high quality neoprene cover, but they do cost a bit more than the Dickies seat covers. I have leather in my truck so no covers there, but if I had fabric, I'd go with either the Dickies or the Wet Okole.

I have the Wet Okole seat covers on my Wrangler Rubicon. Top quality! But - you're sitting on a sheet of rubber that doesn't breathe very well - not the best for hot weather. I did price them for my F150 - nearly $400 customized the way I wanted them! I can buy a lot of the Dickies for that price and just throw them away when they get too grungy.

I actually just use the el cheapo universal fit covers because I like to be able to quickly install or remove them. I generally just use them when I'm going fishing or camping, but like to have them out for general commuting. I just have a cheaper water resistant nylon pair from Cabelas, plus a full cover for the rear seat (supercab) that I keep in place all the time for the dog.
