Dose any body know If Ford palns on putting this engine in the Expeditions & super dutys?
Or are they sticking with the old 260 HP 5.4L 2V?
>Any info would be good, I am looking at buying a new Expy in about a year or so, 04 or 05 model year I was wondering If I could get it with the new 3V..
I have no doubt the 04 Expy will have this new design as well, but for now the big push is the all new F150, so they wont make as much noise about the Expy for awhile.
Originally posted by daveplot I read an Internal Ford slide show for investors last week, in addition to the new cars and trucks, they listed when the 3v would be in the trucks.
Thanks for the info, I can weight till '05 for my expy, kids are starting to out grow the super-cab tho. But with gas prices on the rise again maybe I will just get a Mazda 6. the gas prices are @ 1.77 a gallon here in the twin citys..... not even a month ago it was 1.39. I've seen it jump 22 cents a gallon in one day!!!
Thanks BLUE

Deep Blue, that new mazda 6 is a sweet car, especially the V-6 top line model (get the stick?) . . It is no Expy though so while the kids may have a bit more rear seat room then they now have in the SuperCab, they would still be about 80 cubic feet short of the small playground the Expy would offer them, lol

> Agreed, The Mazda 6 is my favorite car out there right now. I have test drove 2 of them. They are way sweet!!
> But I also want all the hauling and towing capacity that an Expy offers. I have 4 kids, a dog, a boat and a 4 wheeler(oh and a wife) She just has a little chevy prizm.(it sucks) we would end up keeping my truck and getting the Expy to replace her dog of a car..
