For those of you running TC3w

Morning guys, I've regularly been cutting my Power Service with Tc3w 2stroke oil for the last maybe 6-7k miles. I went to change the FF today durring my oil change and the filter looked like this? Is this common if using 2stroke? Injector O-rings were done 10k miles ago and I have no adverse running conditions.. Thanks.

some 2 stroke oil is black or it could be the rest of the soot in tank from when you did your orings

That's way to dark, and mostly the ashless 2cycle oil is blue. any chance you cut one of the O rings during install?
I've notice when I used to use auto trans fluid in the tank my filter will always come out pink.

I run TCW3 every tankful. Haven't pulled a filter in either truck in a while, but last time I did it sure didn't look like that. All the TCW3 I've ever bought has been blue, and at 1 oz / gallon, it sure shouldn't darken the filter that much.

Hhmm.. Thanks fellas.. I suppose theres always a chance an o-ring was comprimised but those were done many fuel filers ago and the filters come out relitively clean when not running 2stroke. Maybe I had some bio growth; the truck does sit 1/2 the year.. In my old truck when I let it sit in Fla for a few months the filter came out like that before I killed the bugs..
