The Hillbilly Stretch-Limo (my 6-door Superduty project)

Small update:
I bought The Car Gauge Pro app and attempted to perform a buzz test on the 6.0, but couldn't get it to work. The injectors all buzz together at the beginning, but none of them buzz after.
To rule out problems with my app, my phone, and my OBD2 adaptor, I plugged it into my 7.3 truck. The buzz test performed flawlessly, leading me to believe that I've still got something wrong with the FICM or the injectors themselves.
Do any of you have similar experiences with buzz tests?

I did a balloon test to see if I'm getting combustion gas back into the fuel rail. The good news is that the balloons didn't inflate at all. The bad news is that the cranking sounds uneven, possibly indicating low compression on one cylinder. Looks like I'll be doing a compression test! I'm hoping that if I am losing compression, it's head gasket related, since I'm replacing them anyway when I stud the engine.

I found the seats! I found a full set of heated power leather seats and the carpet and headliner from a rolled lariat and the back seat from another:
Parts I still need to source:
Short bed fuel tank
One more tan carpet
A tan headliner with sunroof
Short bed
I hope to bring my two stripped frames together this week and start cutting. One they're cut and welded, then I'm going to strip the front sheetmetal and drivetrain from the F550 and put it into the stretched frame. At that point I plan on pulling the heads, installing ARP head studs, new head gaskets, and a new oil cooler (that is of course barring me finding any big base engine problem when I test the compression tomorrow.)

can't wait for more pics! i love this, i want to build one so bad one day. i think whenever i can afford a new truck, i may combine my excursion rear end with my 04 dually long bed.
not to thread jack, but kinda related- as far as i know from the research i've done online, the back doors+cargo of an excursion body will fit right in place of an 8ft bed, then of course you gotta weld everything up. i'd love to combine both then put an f650 front end on my 04 dually then i have a 6 door excursion dually f650 front end lol.
i may have posted this already now that i think of this...didn't look back at the other pages lmao.

55g would be awesome. i love the stock 44g in my excursion, i think my 04 dually CCLB is 38g. wish i had a larger tank, i eventually may look into adding a 2nd one, wonder if i could fit an excursion one in the spare tire location (thats where the tank is on my excursion since the spare is inside)
nice progress so far. can't wait for some cutting and welding!!!

I've thought the same thing about adding a second tank where the spare tire goes. I have the tank out of my F550. I need to measure to ascertain whether or will fit under a short bed or not. I have a spare filler door that I cut from my old truck. I would have the original filler door in front of the fender and an additional one behind it!
Has anyone else ever done this?
