IDIoit, I think you're right about driving as is for a while before lifting it. I'll be doing a "shakedown" to ensure everything else is up to snuff before I add more complexity in the form a lift.

Today I got the new driver door primed along with the hood. I've got the day off tomorrow, so I'll be working on the roof.

Yes sir! But first I stripped all of the copious amount of cracked filler, built the low spot up with kitty hair, sanded, and applied a much thinner coat of filler. Tomorrow I'll do the same on the other side and hopefully I'll have enough time to prime!

The top is almost ready for primer. I worked on the area above the doors on the driver side today and started on the very back of the cab and the very front of the cab.

Excellent work! Looking forward to the results. Will you run two bench seats for the middle and rear?

For the time being yes. I'm looking for another 40/20/40 row of heated tan leather. I'm going to wire for 2 front rows. That way I can easily swap in the right front seats when they become available.

Really enjoying all the videos, do you plan to make a compilation of all of them at the end?

Yes. I'm planning on making a compilation video when I'm all done. Right now I'm spending all of my time on the truck, so I upload the raw video with no editing. When I'm done with the build, I'll edit them all together into one video with commentary. I think I'll edit out some of the sanding. I seem to have many minutes of GoPro time dedicated to me sanding, sanding, and sanding. It's necessary for a good build, but it doesn't make for interesting watching.

I forgot my GoPro today, so no time lapse, just a couple of pics of the self leveling seam sealer. I was hoping to spray primer but it was cold enough in the shop that the seam sealer wasn't curing as fast as it's supposed to, so I ran out of time. I'll have to spray tomorrow. Then I'm out of time at the shop, so I'll have to pay the body shop to finish sanding and building with primer. Oh, well at least I know it'll be done correctly, not the ham-fisted attempts I put forth!

so true!
I had to share that.... because my response to her was
"why didn't you say something MONTHS AGO!!!!"
we were both (bio and I) in the same spot at that point in time,
with a damn near exact same project.

Bio, is that the Lord Fusior's seam sealant?
looks like the same stuff I used...
but I skrewed up, did it outside in the wind, and I got residual string on part of the bed

Lol! I'm not doing any more body work! One sunroof is how it's gonna stay!

Yes sir, it's Lord Fusor 122EZ. I used 3 tubes (at $60 apiece!) It flows so nice! My problem came because Ol' Lefty gets fatigued fast and all of those seams required LOTS of pumping!
