1956 stock wheel

I have 1956 f100 with stock wheels. One of them was rusted to bad to hold air. This truck is going to be a driver just as it was found. My question is what other f100s has the same wheel as in size and off set. Thanks Haroldmac.

A 1956 F-100 could have left the lot with any of five optional wheels. At that time all but one would have had inner tubes, but today only one of the options would still require tubes. You'll need to figure out which you have.

The wheel options were:

15" x 5.0" - listed in some references as the standard wheel. Ford B5C 1015-A / K-H 25195 / NWRA X-40098. Positive offset .620".

16" x 4.5" - Ford 8C 1015 / K-H 31283 / NWRA X-40096. Positive offset .620".

16" x 5.0" - Ford B4C 1015-A / K-H 38189 / NWRA X -40097 or X-45110. Positive offset .620".

15" x 5.50" - Ford TAAA 1007-B / K-H 37717 / NWRA X-45058. Semi drop center two piece heavy duty wheel having the Firestone RHP rim. Positive offset .250".

17.5" x 5.25" - Ford B6C 1015-A / K-H 40337 / NWRA 45059. Positive offset .250".

All these original wheels had what are called the "innie" hub cap mounting. Ford in large measure switched to the "outie" hub cap mounting in later years. According to my records Ford retained the innie mounting through 1966 on 15" x 5.5" (NWRA X-45111) and 16" x 5.0" (NWRA 45110) sizes. Perhaps Bill (NumberDummy) can add detail. Stu
