Turbo pedestal o-rings

Happy 4th of July fellow truckers!

Lately I've noticed the pedestal of my turbo charger was wet. Upon a quick google search I've concluded the o-rings must be bad.

Does anyone happen to know what size o-rings they are and material? I mean it's an o-ring right? Like if I know the size and material of it I should just be able to grab a few from Napa and fix the leak. Or do I have to buy a $10 kit (figuratively speaking) from an auto parts source because they're odd ball or specific parts?

I would get the two from Riffraff, why take a chance after all that work.

Yes, use the correct, good quality orings in there. As much trouble as it is to do, only want to do it once.

I suppose you're right. I was just figuring o-rings from Napa would be just as good as another vendor's so long as they're the right kind of material (i.e. nitrile or whatever it's suppose to be rather than the cheapy black rubber o-rings). Also figured it'd be silly to pay shipping on a $0.50 item.

I'll see what riffraff has to offer!

thanks.

I bought some Viton assorted O rings from eBay and have worked great with the hydraulic machinery at work.

pedestal may not be leaking, it could be your turbo outlet to spider/Y oring leaking crank case fumes
