2002 f250 v10, 200,000 miles , runs smooth , out of no where today wont rev over 3000, under load when driving..., no problem in park or neutral,,,no codes? I know this is out there somewhere having a hard time finding it, changed fuel filter last week , that's it, any leads???

up date , does have stock exhaust, will rev normally t down pretty steep grade, no problems,,up hill will hit 3,200 in first automatic, up that hill which normally I could hit 4000 or more it bogs at 3200, and stutters a little, let the gas up a little and stutter goes away , trans temp normal, maybe exhaust getting restricted , but came on suddenly, cats stock too??? trying to get it to throw a code, not yet..

This sounds a lot like a catalytic converter issue, does it sound like a can of marbles rattling around on the engine at WOT up hill?
Have you had any misfire issues recently? Dads 00 6.8 destroyed the catalytic converter in literally 10 Miles towing with a misfire and would fall on its face trying to rev over 3000rpm.

RODDED , pretty much emptied cat... fun to listen too when , exhaust , muffler unhooked,,haha, re attached pipes, does run some better.... will break tires loose now, with LS rear,, still going to do extra tran cooler,,feeling better about it, only cat I ever had go out was on my old 91 jeep wrangler, and it wouldn't even rev or move, completely plugged , from running to no go,, just need to decide on a new muffler, have used a few aero turbine , friend with guy who helped develop them, got a couple pro bono, to test, really like em, who knows, any ideas??for v10

What exhaust to use on an V10... That is the million Dollar question that I haven't seen an answer to yet.
I have read of lots of guy considering the aero turbine but not much on how it sounds.
The V10 will not sound like a V8 regardless of what you go with.... The one and only thing I don't like with the V10.

I went with the AT3030 on mine. Stock exhaust, aside from the muffler. It's just a little bit on the quiet side for me personally (that says more about me than how loud the muffler is), but it's got a really nice tone, in my opinion. The tech that put it on revved it a few times after he finished it, and the shop manager came out and they both said it was the best sounding V10 they'd ever heard. Everyone has different taste, though.
I think most folks opt for the AT3030XL, which is a quieter version of the AT3030. That would have definitely been too quiet for me, but if you gutted your cat that may be a better option, if you don't want it to be too loud.

after all, codes/ , running lean,, rodded cat, check for vacuum leaks, went to auto zone borrowed, fuel pressure gauge , .every thing fine at key on and idle , took a ride with it hooked up, so far so good, hit an open road and mashed , WOT, pressure dropped below 10, ,,, new fuel pump in,,,bla,.. truck loves me and revs to 5000 if I want it to , v10 power back.. HAPPY CAMPER,, now to decide on the muffler,,,
