Raising an 01 f250 4x4 diesel cc

New proud owner of a used 01 f250 xlt cc 4x4 with 134k miles. Im wanting to raise the truck just a little. I am concerned that putting a 2"leveling kit on it will cause the rear to sag. I don't want that. I really just like a tall stance and would like the front to come up just a little and the rear to come up. Im not really wanting to put bigger tires on it either. Maybe a size or two bigger than the original 265. Any ideas would be appreciated. I saw a youtube clip of someone adjusting their torsion bars, is that a good idea????

You don't have torsion bars so that's a no go. Most people that do a leveling kit will do a 4 inch f-350 block in the rear instead of the 2inch f-250 block that's already there. You will also need an adjustable trac bar to center the axle after the leveling kit.

So i will have to get a trac bar if i put a 2 in leveling kit on the front? Someone was telling me to go with a manual air bag in the rear. That will help compensate for the sag if my truck is sagging after the install. They were telling me every truck is different, some sag after a level kit is installed and some trucks don't. Im curious how it will look with the factory tires on it. Pictures would help if someone has this done to theirs.

Adding a front leveling kit will not make the rear sag, the rear will remain exactly where it was prior to the front level kit installation. It may look like it is sagging due to the new higher front. I would not recommend air bags for a permanent rear ride height lift, the taller blocks from the F-350 are a much better solution. If you are happy with the front/back rake currently then adding the 2" front level with the 2" taller 1 ton blocks should keep that same rake.

If I use the blocks in the rear, will it make it more of a rough ride? will I need to change the shocks or anything else if I add a 2" lift in the front and f350 block in the rear?

A taller block in the rear will not make the ride any different than how it is now, it's just a lift block.
I'm an EXcursion guy and our springs and rear shocks are a little different than the Super Duty setup, so my best advice would be to check with the level kit supplier on what they have to say about front shocks. The rears on the EX have the capacity to handle a few inches of lift, and I wouldn't be surprised if the F-250 and F-350 (with the taller blocks) used the same rear shocks.

I recently lowered my 2001 from the fubar'd 6" lift I bought it with. I put the Procomp 2" leveling kit on it. It came with front springs, ubolts, and 4 new shocks. I also put F350 rear springs and blocks in it because the lift springs were cracked. There was no difference in part numbers between F250 and F350, so I'm guessing your rear shocks will be fine. I went back to a stock pitman arm, and track bar bracket. Then added a adjustable front track bar to accommodate the small lift.
