SS Body Bolt Kits and Fasteners
Hey guys, Ive been working on my radiator support and it is finished and ready for install. Ive been looking for some caged nuts for the grill to mount. Then I started looking to get a complete bolt kit...
Anyone have any feedback on these C&G kits Complete Ford SS Kit
Or anyone have another suggestion?

You might want to check, as I have never seen the cage nuts in stainless. The bolts are easy to find. I guess it comes down to convenience. Looking at my bags of bolts, my guess is that you could probably source the stuff yourself for half the amount. If all the hardware isn't stainless, then I'm not sure of the advantage unless you just like the looks of the bolt heads. There aren't that many sizes used so you can find the bolt number in the Auveco catalog, search it on Amazon or eBay and buy them in bulk. That catalog is worth downloading...you'll be amazed at what you can source!

Been number of years since reassembled 65 front clip, seem to recall majority of the hardware for the front clip can be narrowed down to 2-3 sizes; 3/8-18-1 1/4 or 1"; 3/8-24-1 1/4 or 1"; 5/16-18; 5/16/24; then there are the corresponding 'J', 'U' nuts, and possibly a castle nut or two that are 1/2"?? If replacing the Radiator Support Bushings then suggest putting out a bit more $ and buy a quality set; purchased a set for the 65 that were basically generic and ended up tossing them and purchasing a set that were more specific for my 65.
Purchased most of the hardware from Restoration Specialties, Inc.; should be able purchase from a local, but quality hardware supply store. Again this was many years ago, noticed their catalog has since changed, did find customer support very helpful. Restoration Specialties & Supply, Inc. | Windber, PA 15963
Perhaps other member's can suggest other sources??
