So was replacing my power steering pump get all done and my headlights start flickering and then stay on the switch is off it does have DRL on it but they have been unplugged for about 10 years what do I need to check

 

If you pull the headlamp fuse, do they remain on? If not, either the switch or a open switch being grounded. Perhaps pinched during installation.


If not, remove the headlamp fuse and then, begin removing fuses until you identify the circuit and trace to the cross-short.

Ok thought problem was fixed so now the low beams don't work at all but the high beams do work.
