Hopkins EASYLIFT
any using one of these. seems there the only tailgate assist available for the older trucks.

If you want/need tailgate assist, seems like for 20 bucks if it doesn't work it was worth the shot.

There was a recent thread about one of these but I dont remember what brand it was. Might be able to find it in a search.

My grandfather had one in his 88. He was in his 80's and able to close the tailgate with two fingers.
