Ok, am replacing old Warn Standard manual locking hubs with some new Mile Markers. Opened up hub and as you can see it seems as if the old spindle nut is still in there. Is this correct? Shouldn't it be the four slot spindle nut and not the octoganal one. In addition, the top nut (where red straw is pointing) only has one slot.
What should I do next? Replace spindle nut with correct conversion for manual hub? Stay with this one? Thanks.
