Thanks!! I ordered them. I'm surprised that's the only one on the market.

I'm sure they are out there for less but I just don't know what part numbers to search. It was just easy to overpay at Nichols...LOL

Yeeeeaahhh..... That's actually what I was trying to avoid. I made my my own plate to move the 12 pin harness into the bed and had it LineXed at the same time as the bed. I also made my own extension harness with Molex 150 connectors. I didn't see that upgrade being worth 200 bucks..

How did you make out with the valve stems? Are your wheels alum or steel?

Aluminum wheels. Worked perfectly. I installed the Ford sensors on them and my tire place installed them in my wheels. Nichols got a good order from me. Two additional sensors, 6 .625 stems, aluminum bed box, and extension harness...

TPMS Sensors in TPMS Trailer Kit

Does anyone know if these sensors in the kit are compatible to be used on a set of wheels for the truck? I have a second set of wheels that need TPMS and I wasn't ready to do the camper yet so I was going to snag these from the kit for now. Thanks in advance...

From everything I've read, they are the same part number as the sensors on the truck wheels.

Dealer tells me they are not the same part number and doesn't think they will work. I had them installed yesterday and am about to go out to try the training method where you let the air out of the tires to see if the truck will pick them up. They do appear to have the same frequency so I don't understand why they would not work....

Greetings, I have the camera kit and TPMS. From my research and from talking to the tire guys, trailer TPMS runs on 433 MHz, which is different from Ford stock TPMS which is around 315 MHz. I had to get the 2 extra sensors directly from Ford since the trailer TPMS is not a stocked item at most dealers. I have not installed mine yet as I need the larger diameter valve stems first.
I would like to see how it works for temerick - let us know.

315 is what the 2016 and older trucks used for sensors. They changed it for 2017 to 433. The reason I know this is the TPMS would not work from these very same wheels I had on my 13 Platinum on the new 17. Dealer told me the reason was the frequency. That is why I just had them changed but I didnt have ford install them and these other places can't wake up the sensors.

H-Rated Tires and pressures above 125 psig

Is anyone running the 2017 Trailer TPMS kit with H-rated tires and pressures above 125 psig? I have a 2018 Redwood fifth wheel with H-rated tires with a cols set pressure of 123 psig. Obviously when I tow and the tires warm up I'll be seeing pressures over 125 psig. I'm hearing that the Ford sensors in the kit only read 125 psig. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!
