i have a 1990 super duty with the idi and have swapped out the shift solenoids with good ones and it still stays in od all the time with a weak drive gear. Would this take care of it?

 

If your problem is a bad computer, then yes, this should fix it. If your problem is a bad relay powering the computer, then this one will have the same problem. Same thing if your problem is something damaged in the wiring harness.
