Saw this great F-7 today
I dropped my wife off to get some groceries after church this morning and drove around the industrial park neighborhood to keep our 16 month old daughter appeased. I ran across this and am glad I did!! The lettering that was painted over is 'Weedsport Fire Dept.' I Googled this and saw that it could be an upstate New York truck.
Either way, it appeared to be complete. I couldn't help myself and popped the hood to see a very clean flat head V8. I did not open the drivers door but noticed it had a 5 speed transmission with first gear located all the way to the right and back, and then second gear was where first traditionally would be. I am very curious what the owner has planned for it and if they are on this forum I'd like to say, NICE TRUCK!!

But it also has RH-5° widow makers. Finding replacements for the 8 x 10" pattern will be difficult. Only Ford used that pattern. The three piece Firestone R-5° style that were also optional are better and safer, but not without their issues and critics. The tubeless 22.5s that were optional through the early 1960s are made of unobtainium. Stu
