I read that my 2002 F250 should have a bundle of wires of which one is a 12V switched 10A circuit controlled by fuse 27 or 29. Is this true? Is it white with a blue tracer? Where approximately is it under the dash?

 

In my 99 it is lt blu/pnk just to the right of the steering column. Has a tag on it "Customer Access". Just a single wire.


There is also a group of 4 wires tagged together. These run through the firewall and can be found inside the cab, and the other end under the hood near the brake booster. Also tagged Customer Access on both ends of the group. They are for accessory circuits into the engine compartment without having to fish wires through the firewall.

 

NOW you tell me,, after i fished at least 3 wires and 2 sensor leads for gauges and EGT..

I just need to think up another project i need a wire or two.

 

I found it. Mine was white with a blue tracer.

I used it to put a switched 12V accessory plug in my glove box so my GPS comes on and off with the key. I got used to this with my Toyota 4Runner and missed it.
