Toying with new guages

I am considering new gauges for my F1. I found these on ebay and really like the antique look of the dials. Does anyone have any experience with them or with the company?

I did a little checking and found this is the same set offered by EZ Wire and others with a 50+ dollar discount.
I think I'm going with this one.

Are you using the (stock)fuel tank behind the seat? I see they include a sender with the kit and I'm wondering if it will work with the stock tank. I s'pose they work on 12 volts too? Thinking of doing something with mine someday.

They are great looking gauges. Love the white face. They should be nice and easy to read at night.

Dolphin gauges that I have used came with a universal fuel sending unit that is GM 0-90 ohms and mounted with the common 5 hole mount. 12v system. Mine have worked fine.

Bob, Dave, glad to hear the gauges have worked well for you. That's the kind of info I was looking for.

Toby, yes I am using the stock tank and sending unit. I am also using an EZ Wiring kit and have converted to 12 volts.

Peter. I liked the white as soon as I saw the ad. Then I saw the black gauges. I'll be ordering today, but I don't know which color face yet.

My truck has been on the road now for a little more than two years and I use these Dolphin guages. Except for the color difference with the lighting at night I have had zero problems.

I think those gauges fit perfectly with these trucks. They look like they could have been a factory install.
I have put my order on hold while the seller checks to see if he can replace the temp gauge with their small tach, (same size hole). I have no need for the temp gauge as I have an under dash, two gauge unit to monitor each bank.
Maybe I should measure them and see if I can get their gauges in the current mount.

Mine are VDO Cockpit Royale gauges. I've seen the Dolphin gauges and their nice. I found a good set of stock gauges and had a guy re-calibrate them, he restored the speedometer the best he could. But have decided to stay with the VDO gauges.

I bought Dolphin gauges. They work great. And Dolphin was very helpful in exchanging my unused original cable operated speedo for an electric speedo when I replaced my T9 transmission for a 4R70W automatic.

That's good to know. Customer support is a big deal.
