51 F3 Serial Mystery

I have a 51 F3. Flat head eight. Hydraulic box. I haven't begun to work on it. It is complete and I fogged the engine when I last ran it about eight years ago. Now that I may be getting on to this project, I began to investigate the truck numbers. I can find no information on the series of numbers that I find on this truck. The serial number plate from the firewall lists the following ... DFA83BH51 - xxxxx. The VIN decoder on this site will only accept 17 digits as a legitimate serial. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanx
