Added Steering Damper to my 2WD

Picked up a factory OEM Ford Steering Damper Kit from ebay. Installed it my 2WD. No problems prior to install; I just wanted to add one. Steering stiffened up and feels ROCK solid!

Part #: F81Z-3E650-AA

They look good in any size and are a solid set of rubber! Truck is looking good! I have had 3 sets on different Jeeps and plan on putting some on the F250 when these need replacing. You will easily get 50,000 miles out of them and the noise levels or ride quality never degrades over time. At least in my experience.

Looks great, next thing you will be doing is trying to figure out how to stuff 38's in there.

I want to see someone with an 11-16 post some pics of their truck with 38s or better yet 40s that DON’T rub the radius arms. I’m really wanting to run 40s on mine but don’t want to lift it higher than it is now. Thinking cut out fender flares and different wheels. IDK, just thinking out loud. If someone is running a setup like that, let’s see some pics

It rubs the radius arms at full lock. I already knew it would before I put them on. Every Super Duty that I have seen with tires bigger than 35s rubs the radius arms. They do not touch the fenders or bumper at all. I have been pondering what it would look like with 37s, and this deal came along and I couldn't resist.

On another note, I wouldn't have been disappointed in 35s if I had of done my research and ran 35s with no lift, but I jumped the gun and lifted it first without even seeing how big of a tire it would run stock. Oh well, it looks awesome now so whats done is done.

No rubbing the radius arms here with 37's. Got to have enough offset for your wheel width. I run 18x9 with +1.
